Quattro 2 Closing Information

Quattro 2 has been granted Occupancy by the City of Surrey as of January 20, 2010. Purchasers will be given their official notices of completion shortly and contacted by our Customer Care Representatives to schedule Possessions.

The following are some Frequently Asked Questions which may assist you with the closing process in your new home.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are “Completion Dates” different than “Possession Dates”?

Yes. Your Completion Date is the day on which the legal ownership of the home is transferred to you. Your Possession Date is the day immediately following your Completion Date (please refer to your Agreement of Purchase and Sale). A scheduled appointment is necessary to pick up keys to your home on this day provided that we have received all funds on the Completion Date.

What should I do if I have a conflict with the Completion Date you’ve provided me?

You should immediately contact your solicitor or notary. Please be advised that changing the Completion Date may not be possible.

Is my move-in day the same as the Possession Date?

The Possession Date is the day in which you are able to pick up your keys for your home, arranged by the Customer Care Representative who will schedule appointments. Your move-in day and elevator booking will need to be coordinated with the Property Manager. Please contact Emilie Le of Rancho Management (B.C.) Ltd. at 604.331.4264 for moving information.

Can I delay my move-in until I am ready to move-out of my current home?
You
can schedule your preferred move-in date with the Property Manager (provided that it is later than the Possession Date). However, an appointment should be made to pick up your keys on your Possession Date. If you are unable to pick up your keys on the Possession Date please make alternate arrangements.

How do I book a move-in time?

If you or your tenants are moving into Quattro 2, you must contact the Property Manager to make an appointment prior to moving.

Please be advised that only one (1) elevator will be allowed to be used for moving, and it must be padded to prevent damages to the Strata’s property. Resident(s) who show up without an appointment will be refused entry and will be sent away. You will be able to re-book for moving at the next available time.

When will I get my keys?

Home Owners will be contacted by a Customer Care Representative after your unit has completed to book an appointment for your Possession Date. Appointments will be scheduled between 8am and 4pm Monday-Friday to conduct a final walk thru of the suite, sign acknowledgement and warranty forms and transfer keys.

Can I get my keys earlier?

No, keys can only be released to you on or after your Possession Date.

When will I found out about the location of my parking space and locker?

Our Customer Care Representative will provide you with this information at the time that you pick up your keys.
